Vintage Persian Rug, Originated From Kashan, All Over Design ~ 1990

This carpet is an Iranian Rug that was woven by Kashani women and girls in rural homes more than 30 years ago in Kashan city. This carpet is very high density and incredibly elegant. Its unique design includes a floral pattern that depicts a garden house and beautiful vases in the margins. While the main background color is a dark shade of blue called indigo, the pattern is quite colorful. Additionally, it is important to note that the wool and Kurk used in the rugs were dyed with natural and long-lasting colors.

The size of this small rug is 219×138 cm, and there are more than 320,000 handmade knots in each square meter of it. Moreover, the pile is made from fine and soft goat wool called Kurk, while the warp and weft are made from natural cotton.
